You don't take a 6 hr long road trip with a 4 month old. We have no solutions for you and if you choose to embark on that unknown and uncharted territory you will receive no help or assistance of any kind from the OT. May the God above be with you and may the odds be ever in your favor. Good luck good sir. You'll need it.

God speed.

Our little man flew across the country at 4 months.

Went on a 10 hour each way road trip at 6 months.

Went on a 12 hour each way road trip at 8 months.

He's been a pretty awesome traveler all the way, he's pretty good in the car seat as long as we keep him fed and his diaper clean.

There has to be some sort of contraption that someone has made to be able for a baby to see this right?

That's the issue. Riding 6 hours without some sort of electronic help is just naive.

She loves to have books read to her. She'll sleep I'm sure. Baby Shark is a go of course. She loves that "Nursery Rhyme Parade" set that Lisa Loeb plays. Yes...the same Lisa Loeb. But at some point some kind of tablet would be nice to make the stops minimum if she loses her mind.

I guess nobody on the OT has kids. He’s 4 months old...do nothing. He’ll sleep for at least half of it. Otherwise a 4 month old is just gonna sit there and stare at shite

They don’t get hard to travel with until 12-18 months. They are mobile enough that they don’t like being confined and they are still too young for electronics or anything really to hold their attention.
