Do you look under your oven on a regular basis?

Mouse traps. Place along baseboards and in corners with peanut butter on them as the attractant. Mice prefer to run the perimeter of a room. By putting the traps in the corners where walls meet and along base boards where you detect activity, you'll increase your odds of snagging them.

Snap trap (the Victor on pg 1) worked perfect for mouse 1, but mouse 2 is too small to spring it. Little frick keeps licking the peanut butter off with no consequence.

Glue trap with a dollop of peanut butter in the middle.

It definitely isn't humane though

Yep.

This is the exact reason I use glue traps.

We did a slap trap and had tiny mouse peanut butter footprints on it and it never slapped.

and just a standard mouse trap with peanut butter on it

This. Peanut butter is like crack apparently.

Put the trap along a baseboard.

Glue traps work too but you are going to wake up to a ruckus and you may have to FINISH HIM!!!!

If children’s literature has tought me anything, don’t give that motherfricker a cookie, cause he’s gonna want some milk to go with it. And that’s just the beginning...

A guy on youtube has a ton of videos of mouse/rat traps that work and uses them in his barn to test them out. Rats are much harder to trap, but for mice, the bucket with a rolling bar with peanut butter works the best at large numbers.

From his videos he seems to have better luck with traditional mouse traps using loose nuts as the mice will feel around and pick them up. Whereas with the peanut butter they will lick it and not set the trap off as easily.

But snakes are pretty good at eating rodents and they can live a long time between meals. Keep a few in your house and you never got to worry about mice again.

Hardware store will sell you a 4" x 4" square that has blue poison in it. It works no matter how small they are.

I concur re positioning of of snap trap at edges. I have seen them as a blur running on edge of wall. Cat solves that with the quickness. My guy, Jerome, is mouse murderer par excellence.

I’ve heard the same. Unfortunately I learned the hard way that you never, EVER give a moose a muffin. Ever.
