That's what we use. Use the jar and buy the refill attractant stuff on Amazon. shite stinks to high hell, but it works extremely well. Has done wonders for keeping flies away from our back patio door.

You aren’t going to catch all the flies outdoors. Use something lavender scented around the door to repel them or figure out what scent is attracting them from inside

Did this once & only once.

We now use the disposable bag someone already posted, you can pop the plastic cap back down when it’s full.

The attractant stinks & after weeks in the sun filling up with bodies of hundreds of flies it will make you puke trying to dump a jar full into something else to be trashed.

You forgot to add the maggot like creatures that will get up and feast upon 1000s of dead flies.
I got several of these, used them and regretted for weeks about having to dispose of them.
I finally bit the bullet, and threw them out.
I didn't notice a large reduction in flies.
Even with several of them in the yard, every time a dog took a shite in the yard, it was covered up with a handful of flies within minutes

Trashy. There’s your problem, Vern.
Get rid of the dogs. Your neighbors will thank you.

Put coins in a ziplock bag and fill with water. Hang them around the yard. It does absolutly nothing to the fly issue but it does let other people know your wife uses pintrest. Also tie old cds and dvds with fishing line and display your wives gullible ness for even greater distances. I always get extra chopsticks when I get Chinese food and place them around my yard. Ever since Karate Kid came out flies have become fearful of chopsticks I heard...
