This. I smashed a finger between a full nitrogen bottle and its wall bracket. Ship's medical guy used a drill bit to punch through the nail and drain it. Just spin it back and forth until you're through.

Soak in epsom salt & water as hot as you can stand it
It will pull the hurt out
Then get a sharp needle or razor blade

You take a sewing needle and you put a lighter under it and get it red hot then touch it right to your fingernail it’ll sink through like butter and you will know when you’re in.
