2. The dude stated his experience staying at Ft. Polk, then tells us about Alexandria bars... So there was certainly a way shape or form...What the hell does being trapped on Ft. Polk have to do with the bars in Alexandria?

Dated a girl from Prineville (lots of hot and whoreish women from this area) for a few years in college and hated having to go to the general CenLa area. Thankfully I will never have to return in my entire life

Alexandria residents are very unlikely to be stranded in their homes due to a blizzard or avalanche. It's far enough north to avoid the worst winds from a hurricane impact on the Louisiana coast.
That being said, there are worse places to end up. What often makes a boring town can be a fairly good place to raise a family if you have secure employment there.
