2008 Mazda 3 has internal engine damage, 160k miles. Most likely a blown head gasket. Not worth the fix. Is it the best deal to trade it in when getting a new car? I think the max will probably be $500 they will pay on the tradein but at least it’s something.

Call a junkyard and get them to tow it away and hopefully collect a few hundred bucks.

Unless you have an expensive mortgage, I would think the standard deduction is used (with the new tax codes recently). So there wouldn’t be a write off.

Sell it to AutoMax or trade it in.

Charge people to beat the shite out of it.

I’d pay $10 for 10 swings at it with a sledgehammer. It’s fun as hell.

A real baw would know the exact damage and would fix it himself but you own a Mazda 3 so that’s our you are not a baw.

Carmax claims they will offer something for any car. Youtubers frequently try to prove them wrong.
