There's 3 methods I use.
1. Wet Wipes. It's a good daily-cleaning that helps prevent sticky/dry shite that tp may not wipe away fully.
2. Apple Cider Vinegar. Really useful to get rid of the smell with a small dab of it on a paper towel. It stings a bit whe you first use it, but it deoderizes your a-hole flawlessly.
3. Shave your butt hair. This might be the best method, imo. Like armpit hair, hair around your a-hole caries the smell. The small fecal matter sticking to the follicles is noticeable when you sweat. Getting rid of the hair near you a-hole goes a long way from your arse stinking on hot days. Just some shaving cream and a cheap, disposable razor does the trick when you shower.
I should mention that you should not ever apply vinegar right after you shave down there. I did so once and it was the dumbest thing I've ever done. My a-hole burned for nearly a whole day after I did that haha

I discovered summertime funk a few years ago was apparently due to fungal jock itch. This was with using daily Gold Bond.
Lotrimin makes a powder, that is amazing. So I would nominate it to maybe knock Gold Bond off the throne. It is expensive but swapping between Gold Bond and Lotrimin powder has me funk/swamp arse free for 4 years.

Lived in Louisiana all my life and I’m retired. Worked in offices and in plants. Never had an issue with swamp arse. I’m not fat.

I still don’t know what this is. I guess I’ve never experience it, and I’m sure there’s a reason for that.
