Best St. Tammany Neighborhoods?

Does the board have opinions regarding what the best neighborhoods/subdivisions in Covington, with a ceiling cost of approx. $500k, are? And how about the same question with regard to Mandeville? Thanks much.

You definitely want to be close to the Causeway in Mandeville then. I would not recommend going up 190 past I-12 to get home every day.

We are currently building in Grande Maison. We looked hard for about 9 months. We wanted to be south of 12, and preferred a neighborhood. There are a few for sale in GM but we decided to build in the new phase they just opened. Hoping to be in by the end of October. Great schools right around the corner.

I would suggest the West 30's in Covington. For your convenience, there are a number of criminal lawyers and bail bondsmen in the area. The courthouse is right there, as well as the prison. The 1 STOP is there for your shopping and social needs. Best of all, there is plenty of culture...I mean cultcha, to enjoy.
