What Greenhead22 said. STAY AWAY! We don't need any more "Come Heres."

Slidell is such a shite hole. You have the thugs that moved from the East and the toothless people from Ms that are there to work. God I hated working out there.

Covington/Mandeville is the most affluent area of St. Tammany and also the most expensive. Slidell is really not that bad if you stay away from the hood areas. (Kingspoint, walnut street, possum hollow). Everything else is pretty nice. There’s also a lot of nice homes in the country out in Folsom and Pearl River.

The neighborhoods on Lonesome Rd are starting to be the best location if you are commuting. The Reserve, Deerfield are 2 very nice neighborhoods with houses that can start in $450,00. Over $500,000 are in the Estates Reserve.
Grand Maision has the newer homes. Only negative is the High School next door, getting in and out of the neighborhood can be a pain when school starts up up and then again around 3:00. Also doesn't have the established trees in the neighborhood if you care about that.
