Amen. This particular instance is about this particular person. She loved it, it's one of the most significant events of her life, and she'll never forget it. The miserable hags criticizing it demand that everyone else adopt their view of how this event should have gone, and attack anyone who departs from their orthodoxy. This moment wasn't about them, or their orthodoxy, it was about this couple, and this couple enjoyed this experience. Everyone else should get fricked.

This is alarming. Graduations are entirely too long as it is? Can every graduate take up an extra minute or two now? Engagements, whats the sex of the baby announcements, shite. If you make a public proposal it should be written in law that you have to make a public announcement as equally grand upon your divorce.

Get your diploma and move on over. I am sure you are precious and in love, but move along.

Actually it was about all the graduates, and it took away from all of them.

I agree that he shouldn't have proposed then but not for the same reasons that she lists. It's kind of like proposing at somebody else's wedding reception, you don't make it about something else.

Just because Essex released a statement, doesn’t mean a significant amount of people cared. PR people always take safest route possible. It’s click bait horseshite

I think that is a legitimate criticism. But most of what was posted above was about the proposal diminishing the woman's status as an individual. I think that's bullshite. But I do agree it distracts from all the other, non-betrothed graduates.

Literally none of those women have been laid in probably 10-15 years. Their personality won’t allow it.

Indeed she won't. After they get divorced, she'll have to take down her diploma cause looking at it will make her sick.

The feminazis are right on this one. Don't proposed on top of some other important event. You're not elevating the specialness of either thing, your potentially ruining both of them.

What's the minimum number of people that have to react before an article can be written? 1000 sounds like enough

It's Not like the article stated all left wing feminists are looneys. Just that some of you are (:

Stop making articles about random tweets with barely any reach. This has 142 retweets. No one actually feels this way. It’s like making an article about what the drunk arse 80 year old said at the end of the bar last night and then saying “WOW EVERYONE FEELS LIKE THIS”

Newsweek ran a story last week about how there were "tons" of empty seats at Trump's rally in North Carolina and their sources were a couple of no name twitter users that barely had any followers, likes or retweets

Seems like you wouldn’t feel the same way if someone plucked a tweet from the other side of the isle and made it a large deal to create a narrative.

Ironically this article gave that tweet more legitimacy than it every would’ve gotten without people like you looking for things that people are offended about to be offended them being offended by it
