Best product to kill and prevent mold?

Ida’s wind blew tons of rain into my home office and covered the entire floor with a quarter to a half an inch of water. Needless to say this all soaked into the drywall and now I have mold issues. I’m thinking of buying Boracare with mold care but before doing so, I wanted to check with those who flooded in 2016 to see if there’s a better product for this. Price is not an issue as I want to do this the right way the first time.
TIA

Best would be bleach. 10% bleach, 90% water, spray lightly

Someone posted about a vinegar mix I tink .. said bleach and water won’t get to the spores.
I’ll see if I can find it
Hope all is still good on the home fro t.
It’s actually anvinegar and hydrogen peroxide mix. Gallon of vinegar and a latge bottle of peroxide into a spray container — this is for wood though. Saturate studs and all open areas once sheet rock is removed. When dry spray again.
I haven’t done this but found it on another board. Surely someone will be along with more help.

You need to cut out the affected dry wall and let it dry out. Cover everything in the wall with Kilz. That’s one of the things it’s made for.

Just paint over it and let the next guy deal with it.

Oh yea I’ve already started that. I hate it because I just finished renovating that room with all new drywall and insulation in the spring.

I know Home Depot carries it.

Concrobium which is TSP. Trisodium phosphate. I’m sure concrobium is jazzed up a bit but you can get TSP in the painting section of the big boxes. TSP became the devil (as Bobby Boucher’s momma would say) some time ago and got taken out of a lot of good detergent/soap products.

Quit spreading this rumor. Use an antimicrobial like mold control unless you have access to a commercial product

Use the Zinsser mold killing primer that has antimicrobial built into instead of Kilz

I came down to Baton Rough in 2016 with a crew of guys to do some clean up work. By the time we got there most of the houses we were working in had the lower panel of drywall removed. They sprayed some mold remover on all the studs and we were coming back and installing new drywall panels after the moisture was to an acceptable level. I remember them saying bleach wouldn’t get rid of it all. Use a specific mold removal product.

If its just one room, I'd probably try 2-3 different things. Asking a professional may be the best way. What Stout said is correct about bleach.

Bleach doesn’t kill mold in porous surfaces (wood).

You can use bleach water to clean and sanitize it but then you need to dry everything out good. Concrobium is a good product for homeowner use after it is sanitized as well as Shockwave. Mold stain is another issue and may be present even on treated wood. It can be sealed
