Am I dreaming or did there used to be a Mike Anderson's Seafood in Hattiesburg? I think I went to it many years ago.

Pier 98 had good seafood and all you can eat crawfish when I lived there a few years back
End Zone was a good pub food spot
Keg and Barrel for a great burger and beer selection

South Mississippi Crawfish Company in Oak Grove.
That sounds like it would be good.

Tabella on Hardy is good Italian.
Zero chance there is “good” Italian in the ‘Berg.

Yes. It closed down. It’s now a Mexican restaurant (last time I checked.)
My recommendation is Petra Cafe. Really tasty Mediterranean food.
Jutama’s, already mentioned, is good Thai food. Get the Musaman dish.

Actually it’s pretty dang good, or at least was originally. Same owner as crescent city, the midtowner, and Ed’s burger, Chef Robert St. John. He took his family to tour Europe and study its cuisine for a year in prep for him opening the restaurant.

Crescent City
Sully's
Mario's for Italian.
Sully's has the best steaks outside of a true steakhouse that I've ever had.
Crescent City is consistently good and has been for 30 years. Try the cajun enchilada.
Mario's is in an old Pizza Hut just off of 49. All scratch made and the pizza is the real deal.

Yeah, the world of cuisine basically consists of Clancy's, the 3 or 4 blocks around Clancy's, and a sea of Applebee's. Hattiesburg is at least 1,100 blocks from Clancy's.

Is the Chinese buffet in the cowboy Maloneys shopping center on 98 still open?

Screw the food, go to Southern Prohibition and drink some world class beer.
