So there's a chance that I'm either PCSing to Barksdale or Klamath Falls, OR.

If I get Barksdale, where's the best place to live with a good high school?

Would like to stay under $1300 a month for mortgage or rent.

Stockwell Place for one of the smaller homes and it will put your kids at Airline High.

Benton is a really nice area and on the North side of "the loop."

Anywhere in Bossier is good as long as it’s not in the central part of the city. Benton, Haughton, Parkway and Airline are all good high schools and have good middle schools and elementary schools.

North Bossier or South Bossier. Both are really nice and really boring.

Look in Savannah place in bossier. Lots of Air Force people there. Very affordable for nice houses and very close to barksdale.

Sold my house there in a couple weeks when I moved. Always base personnel moving in.

Haha. Good luck. Gators are everywhere. You can hardly drive without running over one.

I was stationed at Barksdale, and lived in Dogwood South. Easy drive to the Industrial Gate, and close to Airline to visit anything you wanted to without always having to deal with traffic.

South Highlands or Broadmoor? Is he 24 and single and okay with crack smokers and a multitude of criminals in a one mile radius?

Bossier for sure.

I feel like you're confused geographically.

The only nice places to live in Shreveport are on Cross Lake or some of the new subdivisions off of Line. That is it. I wouldnt even live in Shreve Island.

Lol what? South highlands is one of the richest areas in the city. Broadmoor and Shreve island are great areas to start a family or even stay a while.

Spring lake has a frick ton of money. Obviously everything off ellerbe is super rich and nice. Even parts off Bert kouns are nicer south of town.

A lot of people are white-flighting out off the Southern Loop. Norris Ferry/Ellerbe Rd area
