No uppity Shreveport attitude here

Just see zero reason to live in Bossier

And Broadmoor/SH are closer to Barksbale than north Bossier

Schools are complete shite though...

Shreveport folks are flying over to Bossier. Bossier is becoming more like Shreveport. Benton is the new Bossier (at least the one I grew up with).

Jesus Christ. Wasn’t Bossier traditionally the sewer of the Ark-La-Tex?

All of the best schools are in Shreveport.

Shreveport has 3 of the top 8 elementary schools in the state. Bossier doesn’t have any in the top 25.

In the sixties and seventies
Bossier was completely mobbed up.

Dude they have some very solid elementary schools in Bossier. WT Lewis and Legacy to name two.

But honestly, we're talking about elementary schools bruh

Barksdale, huh? You're one of the lucky ones. You'll be wiped out in the first wave of nukes. The survivors will envy the dead.

Haughton is really growing, and has some nice areas to live. Dogwood, Forest Hills, Cornerstone, Tuscany are all nice neighborhoods.

There is also a newish gate (within the last few years) at the end of Bodcau Station Rd. that will put you on the east side of the base fairly quickly.

Also, if you like to fish, Lake Bistineau is out that way. Also, Flag Lake on Barksdale is a hidden gem when it comes to bass fishing. The cold snap we had this year really cleaned up the area lakes. They look better than they have in a decade.
