Best place to eat/spend some time at Houston-IAH

I have about 4 hours to kill at IAH tomorrow between the end of meetings and my flight out. Delta does not have a SkyClub at IAH and heading off property is not an option. What is the best place to eat at in the airport? I can take the APM to any part of the airport, just need a place with good food that allows me to review some documentation while I eat/drink.

Terminal E has a pretty big selection of places. Also the new B did as well last time I was there. My personal favorite (even though it's nothing special) is Papacito's over in C/E

If DL is still flying out of A you benefit from the short security lines and ease of access to shuttles and baggage claim, but there's basically a McDonald's there and that's it.

Also, the Marriott restaurant is above average and very quiet. Stayed there earlier this year and was pleased.

They are, unfortunately A North does not have a real Precheck and A south has Spirit.
You are right on dining, there is a BBQ spot that isn't miserable, but the rest is pretty bleak

Get to C or the new area of B.
C has Bubba's seafood and a wine bar that has good food. New B has a bunch of options, some nicer, some quick bites like Bullritos.
If you're delta, you're in A, which has I think either a tgi Fridays or ruby Tuesdays and nothing else.

Stopped at a Wendy's there between connections. Dumb cashier charged me $652 for a value meal. Didn't realize it until I was on the plane ride home. Thankfully it was on the company credit card and they sorted it out for me

Yep, that's the wine place. Solid food and of course a ton of wine. It's upscale meets airport prices, so beware of that. It's also small and I don't think there are many if any plugs, so consider that as well. The new B is your best bet if you want power.

If $650 from Wendy's ever hit my credit card, I'd hope my bank would immediately flag that. There is no good reason for that to ever occur.

Good to know. So the best option for setting up and working (after dining) is in the renovated B?
