Feeling seafood.

Not cheap arse LA fried seafood, I'm looking white table cloth.

You have to hit up this little breakfast spot, it’s called Waffle House.

AJ’s fried blue crab claws as appetizer and then get the fish tacos with catch of the day, watch the sun go down over the harbor and listen to a goatee’d dude play James Taylor songs while drinking cold beer in the presence ot OT 6.5’s.

Life doesn’t get better than that.

I was actually going to say the same but just say the shacks around Bud and Alleys. Shrimp Shack was great and during the day the food trucks are badass.

Back towards destin, I like Whale's tail but it is mainly due to having a beachside bar. Dewey Destins is good actually back in Destin.

in that case, Flemings is really good but it is a steakhouse so the seafood will be more limited than full menu. It is over in Grand Boulevard.

Boshamps is another option. Not as upscale but great view can be had and the food was good. My buddies liked it much more than I but I'm not a big seafood eater either.

Seems like you might fit in.
At worst, you will leave there thinking you are somewhat superior to their staff and/or other patrons.

Enjoy!

Old Florida fish house is my favorite place in that area. It’s on 30A but closer to PCB than Destin. Great sushi as well

Louisiana Lagniappe is good, whiskey bravo, great southern. There’s a lot of good “high end” restaurants down there. Lived there for 6 years and tried most of them

I actually think the Louisiana Lagniappe there is awesome. Never had anything other than a great experience.

ETA: my biggest complaint is about douche bag in his T-shirt and ball cap. You’re at a $30-50 an entree restaurant. Throw a decent shirt in the car before leaving Gonzales
