Best place in/around BR to launch a model rocket?

Just got my two boys three model rockets to build and launch. They have parachutes and are reusable. However, two of them are designed to go 1000 ft.+
Has anyone done this around BR that can suggest suitable locations?
I thought about Highland Road Park, but the BREC website says that fireworks, etc. are prohibited.
Thanks in advance for suggestions!

There's plenty of space

Burbank soccer complex. Wide open when there aren't any games going
I shot a rocket at highland and lost it in a tree

Maybe you should have researched this BEFORE purchasing.

Every time I took my kids to play soccer at Burbank there were people in the open fields across the roadway flying RC planes.

That is an RC airfield built for that purpose.

Maybe the LSU hayfield lot. I built lots of Estes rockets growing up and that lot should be perfect.

Into a crowd of protestors blocking the street.

Burbank soccer complex is a good one. Maybe christa mccauliff center. Some brec parks have a lot of space. The one at goodwood and flannery comes to mind. Also the one at millerville and South Harrell's Ferry.

I appreciate the suggestions. If the wind is negligible, we will try the hayfield lot south of Skip Bertman Drive. Not far from home.
Planning on launching at daybreak a week from tomorrow, weather permitting.
If we lose em, we lose em. They weren't too expensive. Just don't want to damage anyone's vehicle or get arrested in front of my kids. ;)

Good deal. As long as they are Vipers or whatever and not multi-stage with large chutes, you'll be fine it you pay attention to wind and drift.
