Don't know what that is but I have a good friend who swears by the power of weed to help him sleep.

To the OP, what about a simple glass of wine in the evening? Not a bottle. Just one glass. Works for me and the doctor says it's not harmful ( keeping it to a glass only).

The best I've tried is zzzquill. I take half the normal dose.

Melatonin knocks me out pretty hard. I'm really groggy when I wake up in the morning after taking it though

I'm trying to avoid any alcohol over the next 6 weeks, just as a change in my diet. I'm probably gonna go pick up some Nyquil and see if that works.

ETA: otc = over the counter. sorry, thought that was an easy one.

Unisom=Benadryl=Diphenhydramine

Same stuff in Advil PM

Works for me. Can make you feel a little loggy the next day.

Don't do nyquil if you don't need it.

If that's the route you want to take, do Zzquil like others have mentioned.

Why shouldn't I do nyquil? I don't know if I "need" it, but I haven't been able to fall asleep on my own before 3am for about a week, so I'm just looking for something that will help.

Not all Unisom is benedryl, the sleep tabs are doxylamine succinate

I get better results with the doxy

I like to avoid taking meds I don't need, like the cold meds in nyquil. Plus, Zzquil has the sleep agent found in nyquil, minus the other stuff anyway.

Nothing otc really works long term, but one of these will knock you out if you're trying to reset your sleep scheule:

Check the ingredients on those neuro drinks. Most, if not all, are identical.

As a sleep professional I can tell you rubbing one out is 100% the best solution.
