I had the bean ones for about 4 years and had no complaints. I got a pair of Rancourts in Carolina brown chromexcel earlier this year and like them better. They’re handmade in the US if that matters to you. I’ve also heard really good things about Quoddy.

I have Johnston and Murphy and Ecco drivjng mocs both are very comfortable

Because they are super comfy. I hiked a section of the AT in some of those. All of these gear heads just stared at me.

They may or may not fall into this category but the Twisted X driving mocs are the most comfortable shoe i’ve ever put on

Quoddy and Rancourt! I have both, and they are both great. I have a pair of Rancourt venetians in shell that are ten years old now, have been re-soled twice.

Also, Alden LHS 986 in shell. Particularly if you can find a pair of the unlined BB ones.
