I don't have anything against the style of any of those seiko watches, but I wouldn't consider any of them "dressy".
not dressy at all. It looks like the ones they used to give away if you won Double Dare

There are some gaudy arse watches in this thread.
Why not something timeless and classic like this: LINK

I pulled the trigger on this one last week. Still waiting on it to come in. USPS and the Weather here have delayed it

Well the guy asked for a dress watch.
I can't believe I forgot this one:
Automatic for $285. I just ordered their Horween Shell Cordovan strap for my old Omega.

Thought you were talking about dresses and I got excited...carry on.

That's a cool looking watch but will you have to carry a flashlight at night to tell time?

I like my suggestion better. It looks like an old Constellation and has a nice strap.
If I were buying a $500 dress watch I'd spend hours looking for a nice gold Omega bumper or an IWC from the 50s or 60s - not everyone wants to do that.

Could you be ANY MORE pretentious? Jeez you are like a woman. The gift is unimportant, it is just the brand....You make me wanna vomit.

Seiko SKX007
Good choice.
You want sporty diver type or dressy leather band.
