Didn't know if this was the best board for this but I just am wondering what is Northwestern State known for? I was looking at Business Admin., Industrial Engineering, or Electric Engineering Technology. I plan on for sure going to graduate school later on for Businees/engineering depending on what I pick. What are my best options?

Don't do an engineering technology degree.

A basic science like physics, chemistry, or biology are always great places to start.

If you are looking at engineering and want to stay in that general area of the state, then why not look at LA Tech? What made you land at Northwestern?

I would do engineering with some business electives. You'll still be able to get into grad school for an MBA with an engineering undergrad. Gives you more options unless you're wanting to go straight into the business world from undergrad.

Can't help you on the academic questions, but there are worse places to spend your college yeas than Natchitoches.

I was planning on attending a bigger school after like UT or even overseas for my MBA. But obviously I would have to make a 4.0 to have any chance at getting in..

Don't do X-ray from there. Market is flooded.

You should look at that course catalog again. NSULA doesn't have an engineering school. It's engineering technology which is not the same thing.

I did look at the CIS program... Looks interesting and I think it'd be a very valuable degree
