I turned 40 yesterday and it got me thinking: What decade of life do you believe is generally the best based on a normal trajectory of factors such as health, family, career, finances, freedom, etc.?

25-35 was legit AF for me... see what the next ten do

if based on health, family, career and finances I'd say 30's or 40's.
If based on experiences and personal growth I'd say 20's or 30's.
I'm 42 and really enjoy this time frame in my life. Good job, great family and in good health.

either 20s or 40s
20s you probably have more freedom, more relationships, more flexibility, healthier, more energy, etc, but you have less money
40s you should be settled in nicely and found your niche in life by then, kids are older, which should give you more free time and flexibility, further in your career which means you should have more money
30s are probably the hardest for a lot of people considering you are probably raising young children, trying to advance in your career and accepting your not in your 20s anymore and starting to feel the effects of aging....I'm 34

My 30’s were fantastic. Got married, had kids, made some money, good times.

10-20.
Eat what you want. Do what you want. Hang out with your friends and play sports. You can make mistakes that barring something really stupid don’t have life altering consequences. You can mess with women and if it doesn’t work out they don’t take half your shite. Then you get to go to college and experience the first true years of freedom and independence.
Plus you can stay up all night drinking, take two aspirin and some Gatorade and then be ready to run a marathon.

Varies depending on your life strategy.
For me, probably 35-45.

1. Early 40's had a son late in life, watching him play sports, grow up and being my best buddy.
2. 30's out of college a few years and making good money with no debt, nice car and playing top golf courses in Houston every weekend. Slamming hots on the reg with no consequences or responsibility.

I'd say it depends on the person.
20's you have all kinds of freedom, but your income and expenses are still a pretty big concern.
30's have a lot going for them. Income is better. If you're a bachelor you have enough money but you're still young enough that you become very eligible to the ladies. If not you get the younger years of marriage and playing with kids.
40's you should be even better off financially (if you haven't divorced) but your body has started slowing down and the twenty something pieces of tail start to think you're old. Or the kids start to be rebellious and college expenses start to creep in your mind.
I'd personally say 30's, but I'm also 25. Still victim to "the grass in greener" fallacy.

I somewhat agree. I’m 49. The 40s are great. I don’t see anything but up in quality for my 50s. But we are one shitty Drs visit from it going to hell in a hand basket

20s were good. Had lots of fun. Energetic, healthy, no kids til 29. I was naieve and immature still, tho.
I'm pushing 35 and so when I turned 32, I started to feel heart murmurs and flutters. Then I started thinking a lot about death and how we aren't here forever. Then at 33 I started getting abdominal pains. Still don't know what it is.
34 I got back pains.
I really don't want to get any older!!

Go to a gp. Get blood work and a physical. If it is all good, take all those bullshite things and put them in a drawer and forget about them.
I hear many men at your age talk very similarly about health issues. If your checkup is clear It would be odd if you had an illness that should worry you
