In a 7 month period, Houston will have had live shows from Jerry Seinfeld, Tom Segura (heard he bombed), Aziz Ansari, Jimmy Carr, John Mulaney, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Josh Johnson, Pete Holmes, and Ralph Barbosa.

Other than Seinfeld that’s a terrible list.

Bryson Banks is pretty good but he can only go so far with the "I was a Marine" humor. He'll have to expand his range to have a long career.

Maybe I missed something new but the last one I watched was terrible. Mark Normand, Shane Gillis, Nate Bargatze, Dave Attell, Collin Quinn are really good.

Well Carr is a very British posh comedian so often the references might not translate to you Americans

Chappelle is great. I like Bergatze and Jim Gaffigan because they are funny without being vulgar. I'm going to see Bergatze in Dallas in October. As a tradeoff, I get to take my wife to see Leann Morgan (i think she's funny too). Another clean comic i sometimes enjoy is Anjela Johnson.
