Holy shite, definitely didn't expect to see someone post my home town ?? Edit: don't think it's anywhere near the best place to raise a family but there are quite a few worse places.

Got that golf course right next door!

Golf course is in Mathews not gheens.

Gheens is a 5 minute ride into the swamp.

I have only turned down that street to Gheens off 308 once in my life but passed by it thousands of times

I mean if you looking for a quiet place with not much going on, then it's great.

I mean no restaurant, schools, soon to be no store.

I mean good luck finding a place to buy though, not much and when something sells its usually sold before anyone knows it was even being sold.

frick off, Jim. I know CC is the “it” institution to throw daggers at, but Ruston is great regardless of CC. I grew up in Ruston, (sans Cedar Creek) and think it was great even with CC as part of the community.

But the best City isn’t really a city. It’s out away from the city. A country community is a great setting for raising kids.

How is St Francisville? I always thought it would be a nice place to live.
