Curious what the OT baws think is a good business venture.
Let's say you don't want to quit your 9-5 day job.
You already own your house / other real estate. Your bills wont be impacted by this investment.
You've got plenty of cash to invest Let's say $500K
I've seen a lot of people talk about laundromats being a good investment that doesn't require a lot of hands on supervision.
What say the OT baws?

I just lend my extra money to people who already have business ideas worked out. Namely through a broad market index fund.

Buy some real estate and become a slum lord

My cousin quit her job as a medical doctor to become a full time dog trainer/pet sitter because she was making more money doing that part time than she was practicing medicine.
Nobody uses laundromats anymore outside of larger cities. You build some climate controlled kennels and you've got a money printer. The birth rates are declining and people want to show their designer dogs on social media. This generation of pets is the most spoiled in history.

Storage ? Even just a lot with covered carports for boats, RVs, etc could create some passive income. No idea the startup for something like that though

Record yourself doing your hobbies, be interesting, and post it on YouTube.

Boat/RV storage. People can’t wait to throw their money away into these ventures. Esp if you run electricity.

Yeah...either she was severely underpaid as a DR or severely over paid as a dog walker...or both. Seems unbelievable
