There is a way to build a rich sounding system without it bothering others. Subs are just abused in the south.

I remember ordering a system from here when I was in 9th grade.

Any of these would be good. You can buy from a site and take to audio shop to have installed.

what's difference between car amplifier and a sound processor for factory radio? looking at crutchfield's site for reference. I would be using the same factory headunit etc on this build.

Go to Crutchfield.com, put in make, model & year of your car. They will show direct fit speakers for you vehicle. And if you need an adapter, or wires it will tell you that also.

Call me trashy then. I’m 57. Have a ‘21 F150 with two 12” JL Audio subs. A 300 watt Fosgate amp and upgraded all the factory speakers. Can’t tell it’s there until I start bumping the Migos or 21 Savage next to you and your Yaris in traffic.

i mean JL, image dynamics, alpine will all have mid level lines that will work. Kicker, RF will too but little lower quality
but i mean even the lowest lines like precision power, infinity, and the above mentioned are going to be much better than the stock
if you really want to spend then start looking at audison, focal, Morel, hertz, gladen etc

you are going to need something to restore the sound. the input coming out the factory unit will be high level and devoid of the robustness a good head unit would produce through low level outputs or a digital output
what all are you trying to run?
i assume, compenents in the front doors and back doors and then a sub?
lmk and ill help you with this. also what year, make, model of vehcile

What is the year and model of the vehicle? The reason I ask…upgrading a stereo today isn’t as straight forward as it was in the 90s and 00s. You are undoubtedly keeping your factory head unit…we all do these days. You have to get a good, clean, signal to send to your Amp(s). At this price point, you may not have the ability to use a DSP, but that’s not the end of the world. Some amps have the ability to integrate with a factory signal and have built in DSPs, so hopefully that’s an option. If your vehicle has a factory amp and possibly noise cancellation, we’ll have to work around those.
I wish we had direct messaging here.
