And I had a GE fridge with a dead compressor at 3 months old.

Never will buy anything GE.

I have my mom's Kenmore washer and dryer and they are still working. No idea when they were purchased but I could probably find out. It has been many years.

Speed Queen for the washer and dryer.

Avoid Samsung and LG refrigerators and dishwashers at all costs!

They all are a gamble

My mother bought my brother and I a refrigerator for Christmas in 2001-

His went out about 2008-
Mine is my garage of my new house as I type.

Good luck and just get the best deal

LG and Samsung

There's a kitchen area at work that has had LG and Samsung refrigerators. Every year they have to be replaced.

I like KitchenAid for dishwashers. Moderately priced with good features. We have a Cafe (GE sub-brand) refrigerator. It’s a built
In we bought when we needed to replace the refrigerator when we bought our house 5 years ago. It’s only been 5 years, but it hasn’t given us any problems.

We bought an Electrolux washer/dryer set used from someone about 10 years ago. It was about a year old at that point. They sold because the dryer was having problems and the wife wanted a new matching set instead of just replacing the dryer. I think I paid $300 for the set. I replaced the thermal switch and the heating coil on the dryer and it lasted until about a year ago when I had to replace the impeller. That fix lasted about a year. The dryer was still drying ok but it was making a terrible noise and I could make it go away for about 2 cycles then it would return. Finally replaced the dryer with an LG that I found at a scratch and dent store. The Electrolux washer is still going strong.

I’ve owned Wolf, Thermador, Viking, Bosh, and GE Monogram/Profile appliances.

GE has always performed the best and zero repairs. I do however like the Thermador gas stove.

Wolf looks awesome.

Viking is crap.
