Controversial take here but Miami in my experience has been the best overall. Easy for connections, customs moves efficiently, and even going through TSA moves pretty quickly when you arrive at the airport. However, it used to suck so they’ve made huge improvements.
My worst for a connection was Charlotte and worst for the TSA line was Denver.

I fly 5-6 times a year and I’ve honestly never gotten to an airport and said, “wow this sucks” or “woah this airport is awesome”

FCA is one of the best. The airport aint nothing special but you are 15 miles from Glacier Nat Park when you land there. Location, location location!

Some of my favorites are Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) and Sacramento International (SMF). My least favorite is Kansas City International (MCI) and the old MSY

If you’re trying to get through TSA without Clear, Pre-Check, or Sky Priority, ATL can sometimes suck.
But that’s own damn fault. Once you clear TSA, ATL is phenomenal… unless you’re flying out of old-arse Concourse T.

worst airport for me is ORD or Orlando, never a good experience at either. CLT isn't bad but it is home base for me so only O&D
DFW up there with the best, ATL is awesome for how many people it serves. Train works well and pretty easy to get in between gates.

When I lived in Atlanta I was just a few miles from MARTA (walked it several times), and I could be anywhere usually without a connection. Security blew but even before PreCheck, I could usually cheat it with alternate security area (can’t remember what it was called).
Now I always have a connection but GSP (Greenville) is an awesome airport. Usually connect in Denver, which I know very well after 25 years of regular flight in and out of there. It’s a pain to drive to and from but good for connections.
Last time I connected in DFW I wanted to shoot myself. Mostly due to American. But the airport itself is indeed retarded.
