Good for you and everyone else but I’d rather not fly into an island just to get hit by a hurricane within days so… feel free to scroll along.

Not making vacation plans to an island in the Caribbean during hurricane season is the first step to avoiding such a dilemma. Does nothing but cause unnecessary stress, wrecked plans and/or potentially getting stranded on an island without electricity and water. These systems could be lining up one after another. Won't be scrolling along...sorry.

It has already been alluded to but how the frick does someone that lives on the Gulf Coast have room to give someone grief for travelling to the Caribbean during hurricane season?

I mean that’s a little harsh. Me personally, I wouldn’t make any cruise or island trips in the summer. Wife and I went to Cancun in April and it was fantastic. But the same could be said for beach trips, although you have an easier out domestically

I will say unless it's playing great tricks, Beryl is much stronger than a 100mph hurricane.

So you’re saying it’s more than 100. Got it. The way it’s worded, it sound like you didn’t think it was that strong.

Pretty much all of the models had it staying on a straight path until now.

It needs to stay off of American soil. Insurance companies will all pull out of the coast if we have an active season

I’m going with the part that’s geographically and politically connected to the United States.
