Had an uber ride once that lasted an hour and a half with some buddies after an lsu game. We became friends with our uber driver who works in Baton Rouge and new orleans. Now some of my buddies pay him a couple of hundos to drive them around while they get shite faced. What's even better is that he can work in between if wants.
Anyone else ever done this? We used to do with cab drivers but uber driver is so far the best.

Oh and it works out great when you day drunk, much cheaper than a dwi

Cab rides are expensive, if someone takes everywhere for the night what would that normally cost you? I got a cab ride from the joy theater to mid city for 40 bucks at 2 30 am and I was by myself. Oh and it was only 8 mins, 36 min walk. Would have walked but I'm to pretty to walk the dirty streets of new Orleans

I know the OP kind. He finally gave Uber a shot in BR after hearing about it on here since 2013. After a long night of butt chugging PBR's downtown he cashed in on his first ride free credit to get back home to Denham Springs. His friend, who's name is probably Zane or JD, had a conversation with the driver about LSU football and now they are best friends.

Haha this the worst example of a "great idea" i've seen in some time.

Paying extra to an uber driver to do what all uber drivers do...brilliant

You and your friends are pretty GD cool for paying someone for a service they provide to y'all. No one in history has ever thought of that before.

I wonder if they had to pay extra to call him "friend".
