.. Can this be used to show fraud in the coming elections...didn't the President mention something the military had to be able to show election fraud as well?

OK.. If you take a list of anything like number distance between Earth an all planets... Or ages if people Who died in lightning strikes... Or number of Catholics in each country and you take all the numbers and put them in a pile and count all the 1, all the 2, all the 3,s..all the way to nine.. It comes out with the EXACT same percentage of 1's 2's 3's.in ALL groups... even voting... The IRS uses this to see if you cheat on your taxes..
If they take all the numbers in the boxes of your return and use Benford's Law they can tell if you cheated... It's a fact.

Will you be equally as interested in showing fraud regardless of the winner?

That is not remotely true for taxes and it isn't how the IRS uses Benford's Law. You are completely mischaracterizing Benford's Law.

You didn't even bother to read the link you posted or at least had no idea what it meant.

You stated:

Benford's Law states there are different percentages based on where the number is located in the number. The leading digit tends to be lower for example.

This is the distribution for the leading digit in samples that follow Benford's Law:

Keep in mind non-conformance to Benford's Law does not mean it is a fraudulent data set even the most ardent followers know it is merely an indication of where to look deeper.

Doesn't explain why it's statistically more likely for junior high students to answer "69" on a math test.
