You could have taken old 90 to whatever that new exit in Slidell is, maybe up 11, then Gause to that mall exit.

You go to show in BSL last night?

Which lane has all the backed up traffic going to Slidell or going out of it? I'm fixing to head from diamondhead to Brookhaven, Ms.

Yep. That's the way to go.

Take exit 13 to Waveland. Get on Hwy 90 to 510. Takes about the same amount of time but at least you're moving and there's zero traffic.

Was coming from Bay St Louis to baton rouge earlier today. My Google maps told me not to go that way but to go north and hit 59 south to Slidell. Took me about 1 hour and 45 minutes to get home.

So best bet is to go to Picayune via 43. Then get on 59 to Hammond to 55?

It's God trying to spare you the misery of being in Baton Rouge for at least 2 more hours. Enjoy it while it lasts.
