I think its a pretty cool concept. During a weekend when people use to leave Baton Rouge, the event brings in a lot of people from all over. So of course businesses in the area benefit from it, etc, but I think if it was a little more diverse in terms of the music.. more like Jazz fest (not saying exactly like jazz fest, but Jazz Fest this year had everyone from Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers to Stevie Wonder, Snoop to Nick Jonahs. Maybe they can take the country out of Bayou Country Superfest.. and replace it with music.

This may be the last year of it in Tiger Stadium, ticket sales this year are bad and were not good last year either except for T Swift, plus the rain issues on the Sunday ticket.

So its not allowed to have the same music as well as other types of music? I am a music fan, but country is one of my least favorite. I dont go because it is strictly country, but if it incarparated other types of music as well then I would be okay with see country performs as long as other genres will be available.
