That looks fun. I’d do it. Just nowhere near at the speed he’s doing it.

I assume the bike was catching air here and there from some of those peaks and valleys on the roads? No thanks on that.

I know. I went over years ago because my boss is a big motorcycle guy. He used to compete in enduro so he is all about any motorcycle racing. Before the actual racing starts they let anyone who has a motorcycle ride the course and he shipped his Ducati over to do it.

My arse would just be drawn up owning one of those spots 4 feet away from the road. Even when you are spectating, you have to keep your head on a swivel. They come out of some of those turns so fast you're just thinking there's no way in hell they hold on. But, they do.

Real life video game stuff there. Nope, never will have the cods to even come close to anything like that. Those are different kinds of humans. I feel the same about the ones who free solo mountains and cliffs. No way possible that humans could be doing that.

2-3 racers a year are killed on that "track". I don't need adrenaline that badly.

buddy of mine used to race bikes and he had numerous broken bones and cadaver bone grafts to put him back together.

On a positive note he had the most awesome tools. He must have had 10 full size roll on tool boxes for his carrier...

They had to have the course memorized. There just isn’t time to see what lies ahead and make the proper reactions to it.

I would attend. From an elevated position, preferably. I would not want to see a crash, even if the entrails missed me and wrapped around the head of the dude standing 15 feet away from me.

That's a hell of a lot of faith on about 2.5 inches of surface contact between tire and pavement.

Back to top I seriously think you have to have lost all your screws to compete in the Isle of Man TT, but I must admit that even with the skill set I don’t think I’d do it.

While I totally respect the speed, what terrifies me the most is that it's not a closed-circuit race track. A squirrel, a cat, a dog or a dumb fan can literally run across the street and end your life. Besides the speed, the shadows are scary.
