Another thread i was following has multiple people having a dick measuring contest about how much they work and how they get NO time off or WON"T take the time off because, "That's not what a real man does.. etc etc etc.."
Nobody cares, take time off for yourself and your family. Hangout for a while and relax and spend time with those close to ya. I promise people won't be talking about how much you worked when you die. Idk just my opinion. Lol

Take time off to be with your family. If you don't, your kid(s) will end up with purple hair and nose piercings and someone else could help them celebrate Father's Day.

I'm glad to have a boss that says go take your vacation, you've earned it. Sure there are times of the year that it is impossible to be off for 2 weeks, like Christmas and New Year's for us in Accounting, but there is something great about taking off for a week and just putting work emails on the back burner for a few days.

I have a manager that brags about staying in a hotel and working on the road for over 11 months out of the year.

Yep, that's about when all of the Europeans I deal with disappeared. I think it was St. Crispin's day or something. Even better, none of them are back at work until next week!
