Baton Rouge Trash Pick Up

I never had an issue in the 5 years that we've lived in this house until a month or two ago. They used to pick ours up around 6:30 am like clockwork.

Now I get home from work and it still hasn't been collected. Sometimes it's not until Tuesday.

call 311...they put off my street for over 2 weeks...
all neighbors called in and they took care of it...
used to be able to call my council person but the one we have now doesn't seem to be worried with the people in his area...

This is why we need St George.

I actually find BR to have excellent public services - trash, water, recycling, sewer etc at a fairly reasonable price. I think we pay about $75 per month for all 4.

They changed our schedule or something in our neighborhood but otherwise no complaints. You can set damn near anything by the road and they'll pick it up too.

They used to "forget" to pick up my recycling on a regular basis. I swear, one month they only emptied my recycling bin once.

Republic Services sucks arse. I had to complain to my Councilman recently about them not picking up the trash. The metro council needs to grow a pair and cancel their contract.

They suck in my subdivision since like November. Recycling is always not picked up til the next day and trash is so so on the day. But they are at least better than recycling truck.

They came 2 days late last week. Probably sandbagging before they demand a huge rate increase.
