If you talking about now...a 5 person shooting spree will do that in town.

If you are talking about normally...a shitty state road system with no money will do that to a town

City needs another bridge.

I'd gladly pay a toll during 3pm-7pm if it meant I didnt have to wait when driving through

When there is a plan to close a lane on a major street like Bluebonnet (and hence create a traffic cluster f***), why doesn't the BRPD assign police officers to direct traffic? I drove down Perkins heading from College to Siegen today, and cars making a left turn heading north on Bluebonnet were stuck in the intersection, unable to move and hence blocking westbound traffic on Perkins. Under the circumstances the traffic signals were inadequate to manage the accumulated traffic. It is imperative for the BRPD to get involved to manage traffic in these situations. Certainly the lane closure was announced beforehand, and police officers could have been positioned to direct traffic. Instead it appears that the BRPD is AWOL where there is a pre-planned lane closure that is guaranteed to create a traffic nightmare.
