The news stations, other reporting outlets all asking for photos and video of the rain.

It’s rain.

Why do we always act like we’ve never seen it?

I’ll take it over the media’s alternative news of reporting on rappers being shot and/or killed.

My kids school dismissed about 10 minutes early today because it was raining. Pissed me the frick off because I structure my entire workday around bringing them and picking them up so when I got the last-minute call telling me about it, I had to cancel a meeting last-minute, which pissed off a client.

frick Lakeside Primary School.

News in Louisiana is absolutely insanely obsessed with rain. They talk about it for days and days before it comes and then for days afterward.

We are having a good rain in Covington. I hope now my neighbor will stop calling the fire department on me so I can finish burning my dead branches and brush.

The local weather people have been over sensationalizing the weather for awhile now. Everything is “WEATHER IMPACT” now. Very tiresome just to get clicks and viewers. I agree with OP

It’s almost as if the population has been traumatized by heavy rainfall and flooding in the past. They’re obsessed with it.
