Lack of manpower in the homicide division is seriously hindering them from working these cases like they should be worked. A detective shouldn’t have to work between 15-20 murders in a year as primary, not to mention another 40-50 death investigations that aren’t homicides and as secondary detective in another 15-20 homicides. The administration knows of this issue, but rather than fix it, they’re constantly creating new unnecessary positions for their friends.
