Well that's just dumb. I'll actually say that letting that area remain vacant is actually better than putting in 150 units of section 8. That's 100% a death knell.

Is East Baton Rouge still building apartments? Is there a demand? The parish has lost residents the past 2 years. I don't see that trend slowing down.
They built all those on Burbank. In a few years with population declining there will be a huge problem and vacancy of 50%. Hope they are tearing down some of the run down ones

The city will do anything they can to tear down “rich white neighborhoods” or areas close to them. Look at what they did to Tigerland. Would someone please explain to me why in the hell there are ghettos in the middle of ZERO social services that these people uttilize daily.
