So now having weed is the same as having illegal firearms. Got it. Anything else I need to understand?

So two people.
The Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Hasan.

Why is treating the general public as a threat until proven otherwise a bad way to police?
They are not an occupying army in hostile territory.
Generally speaking it's best to govern with the consent of the governed. By violating that trust you are making your job that much harder.

Go smoke your weed and be happy in this free country you are fortunate enough to live in.
and you're an idiot.

It increases exponentially if you include gang shootings as mass shootings too.

Cops aren't soldiers.
Want to know why the "public" has lost faith in law enforcement? Because of the militarization of many departments. They have created an us vs them mentality with the public.
The war on drugs was the worst act we've committed on the public

Did you know more white people are killed by cops than black folks?
So you are telling me the MAJORITY of the population accounts for more police killing than a minority?

Thank you, as messed up as this country is. I am.fortunite to live here.

You can't be this dumb

The "War on Drugs" is disgusting, vile, and has done uncalculated damage to our society in my humble opinion.
It hasn't even accomplished it's own goals, as drugs are easier to purchase, cost less, and have maintained a violent atmosphere.

Not only do these figures show that, in real numbers, more whites are killed by police than blacks, but, when contrasted in proportion to the crime rates of each group, whites are in fact far more likely to be killed by police than any other race, especially when it comes to violent criminal offenses. For example, according to the US Department of Justice (“Homicide Trends in the United States, 1980–2008“), blacks accounted for 52.5 percent of homicide offenders from 1980 to 2008, with whites 45.3 percent and “other” 2.2 percent.
Funny how you completely skipped this part.
Moron.

And that 13 or so % of the population accounts for more than 51% of the murders in this country. You're dense.

You didn't read, which is as much as I figured.
You really don't want that bubble to burst.

It's created a hostile atmosphere between law enforcement and the public. It needs to go away.

But Roger, why don't you think of the children? Should they grow up in a society where they can make their own bad choices and possibly screw up their life?
No, not with saddling themselves with insurmountable debt while deciding to get a senseless degree, or not seeking help with alcohol addictions, that's fine. I mean screw up their life with drugs!

I would be offended if I actually read that, but I did not all I saw is that he wanted to make a point that more whites are killed than blacks by the police.

He said his nephew was "a good kid" who grew up in St. Paul. Philando Castile's Facebook page says he attended the University of Minnesota.
