Not sure

I think in the thread that was deleted that she was put on probation with the stipulation of paying the money back.

Sammy's is the big loser here. Erwin was there every day. It's like he didn't even know grocery stores sold Budweiser.

Truth, but honestly, I'd be hard pressed to think the staff got fed up with him.

Certainly not the most far fetched conspiracy theory, but I'm more inclined to think it was a normal night, he pissed her off, and she COULD have made it up to get back at him. He COULD have said it. Either way, this was a LONG time coming for him at Sammy's with how he acts like he owns a seat at the bar of a very busy restaurant. Eventually there was going to be a confrontation that was big enough for Sammy's to finally cut ties.

I'm inclined to think you are probably right. He definitely had "his seat" there damn near every day and I have no doubt an argument arose. And you would know better than I, but you wouldn't be the only person I've ever heard call him a horse's arse. However, especially this day and age, I'm always suspicious about someone saying a white person called me a ni**er. I don't think he said it. He's been in the public arena too long to make that kind of mistake (even if he wanted to say it!) But sadly it's kind of like a rape accusation, the accusation is almost as bad as a conviction. Regardless of if it is every proved, the public at large will label you a rapist or a racist in this instance just based on a mere accusation.

Sammy made a mistake. He has pissed off his regulars by taking the side of someone he doesn't even believe. I hope this hurts his business.

I wonder has trump ever been sued for racial discrimination???

I always gave you more credit in regards to your intelligence than that. He was sued because a manager at one of his businesses was breaking federal law, and as the/a owner he was financially liable in a civil court case. The man was one of the first to ever win a NCAAP diversity award FFS. You know all of this though and our just trying to push a narrative that befits your argument regardless of facts.

Also who in the hell would wait for 2 hours to eat at Sammy's.

Keep digging that was not the only time he was sued for discrimination.

I can see how taking the side of a felon would piss people off, but how did people view him there overall? I mean he literally eats almost every meal there during the week when I've gone. They have to think his antics were childish regardless of this particular case.

Yeah it's something I need some damn concrete evidence to make an assessment on at this point. Can turn into a boy who cried wolf with a quickness.

I've lived/been in some pretty damn racist (at least by reputation) locales, and I've only been called that to my face as a pejorative once.

I am pretty sure he will be alright. I know a huge group of people who have been boycotting them for years because of how some former employee was treated. Still a line out of the door every day. He is printing money and can do what he wants.

i really don't know how this calling of the n word got to be such a bad thing. It's always the same story. Black female claims to have been called the n word then a few weeks later it's debunked and nobody gets any charges.

It's political at best. That's why the likes of Gary Chambers is running with this story so viciously instead of waiting and seeing what really happened.

here's the thing....

he has the look of an old drunk I could see saying it.....but she also definitely looks like the type of chick who'd accuse someone of saying with the quickness

Wait, you mean in general or the fact that so many false/unverifiable claims come out?

shite's no fun to get called irl (like any slur), but it is a word I can easily laugh off. Tells me more about the person who'd try to use it in a demeaning manner than anything.

The ultimate his word against hers dillema. However in today's world, you don't need evidence anymore to accuse someone. Social media ruins careers every day of people who may or may not deserve it. Crazy.
