How long before he cries "Raciss" on this one?
I remember this guy being a real Jack arse and regularly going on TV to make wild accusations against the Police and others.

A Baton Rouge attorney was arrested Monday after he was accused of forging a police document before sending it to a credit agency, according to an arrest warrant.
Baton Rouge Police said 46-year-old Kwame Imani Asante purchased a copy of a document on Sept. 18 relating to a case where Asante was the alleged victim of identity theft. When the credit agency Experian received the document, however, they alerted police because it appeared to be altered, according to the warrant.
Investigators compared the document Experian received with the original and determined that it was altered, but the warrant does not spell out how the document was changed. Police said Asante filed the original police report five days before purchasing a copy of the document.
Asante is an attorney at Asante & Associates Law Firm, which is located at 1150 Florida Blvd., according to the report. He was previously the president of the Baton Rouge chapter of the NAACP.

Can someone shed light on what he was altering and why?
He obviously had a police report he wanted to make more favorable for himself before giving to Experian. Was he trying to make it look like the identity theft was for more $ or did he try to attach a valid account to the identity theft?
Inquiring minds wanna know.
