Maybe 25 years ago. I'm pretty sure there's nothing "cool" about going to Starbucks in today's age.
Starbucks is far from my favorite taste-wise, but I get a $5 gift card every time I spent $300 with Verizon (which is every 2 months) so I have $20 in gift cards build up right now with another one hitting soon. So I go occasionally.

I don’t why anyone would regularly go to Fourbucks for their inferior coffee. Maybe I’m old school - but when I was in college, I brought my own coffee to study group and spent my drinking money on alcohol. Not coffee.

Airports. They’re easy enough to find anywhere I’m flying through. But I haven’t stopped at one in a couple months. United switched to Illy awhile back and it’s good enough.

A few thoughts:
1. Starbucks coffee is generally substandard
2. Pumpkin spice latte is gross
3. Starbucks is overpriced, but I think all of the big coffee places are overpriced (and I still go to them
)

I don’t usually get the pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks.
Instead....I get a chai tea latte (hot or iced depending on my mood and current temp outside)with one pump of pumpkin spice added. Not over powering pumpkin...just a hint of it. Added with the spices of the chai....it’s delicious.

I usually get a medium cappuccino with an extra shot of espresso at pretty much every coffee place across the board...or just a plain latte. I generally don’t like adding syrups or spices to coffee. Although, during the winter, I will sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon and sugar on top of my cappuccino crazy!
I mainly drink black teas like English Breakfast at home, although I just got a cappuccino maker, so I’ve been drinking those every day recently.
