Not new cars, guns, or jewelry, etc)
We've had this thread before, but I am a junk (collectible) junkie and like hearing what people own.
Actually, right now, I am tapped out. I sold my LSU collection a couple years ago for about $15k, including my original photograph of the first game in Tiger Stadium.
I am between collections right now, focusing on photography.
I use to collect antique and rare toys.

Was going to say I thought we had a thread like this before, then saw who posted it.
Makes sense.
People and pets don't count either.

I have a signed photograph of Babe Ruth valued at around $10,000. The frame it is in cost me about $50.

Sentimental stuff and functionally valuable stuff more than anything.

I have a wine chest from the early 1800s.
It's a completely sealed cypress box with a hinged lid.
It's worthless but has been in my family for 200 years.

By far it would be my 1981 Les Paul Custom Black Beauty in excellent condition. I have around 8 guitars, the oldest being a Gibson 1965 flat top, but the Les Paul is the most valuable.
Of my motocross and roadracing memorabilia, it has to be my autographed Marco Simoncelli team shirt, since he died tragically in a race not long afterwards. Sad day indeed.
Both are items I'll never part with.

I'd also like to know what your most valuable item(s) are. Also, just for fun, where you keep said item(s), your address, general daily schedule, and the disarm code for any alarms you may have.

All of my grandfathers letters to his mother and my grandmother during World War II, his dog tags, a German officers pistol he "acquired", and a painting a French family he befriended gave him.

So you're going to be buried with the team shirt & Les Paul?

I have a toy piano my mother owned from the 1920's. Last I checked it was worth about $200.

I collect old vintage wooden fishing lures. From the 1900's to 1950's. 1950's is when they switched to plastic. My most valuable lure is worth $1,000. They are like fascinating small works of art to me. To each his own

Or my saints hat signed by most of the team back when Gleason and Deauce where playing.
I don't collect shite like that. Waste of money.

I've got a lot of great cards but my most valuable collectible is an original Picasso charcoal or a Peter Max lithograph
