When Barney first came out, some guy was selling Barney stuffed animals near the Galleria in Dallas. He had a giant Barney and one night someone shot it full of arrows.

Reminds me of a friend of mine, who was into martial arts. One Halloween, at the height of Barneymania in the mid 90s, he rented a Barney costume just for the head, so he could greet trick or treaters at his door dressed in his karate ghi and holding a samauri sword in one hand and Barney's head in the other
