It's really sad. I've read of 17 year old kids in New Orleans getting 6x the bail than this.

not really fair. I would love to know what the charge is in this case and why it is so low.

I'm confused, the old lady made it sound like the victim had a trust fund and went to LSU. Were they Both trust fund kids.

I'm sort of disturbed by the casualness the killer displayed in court.

Well he did just murder someone, so his definition of acceptable behavior is probably different from yours

Come to find out, the dead guy is my brothers friend.

This is the DB that killed him. Apparently roided up and went back to his house to get the kitchen knife which he stabbed Shannon with.

No doubt. Pretty shitty situation all around. The dead guy's dad was the producer of Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler.

What's being 17 have anything to do with it? The 50k bail is bullshite but those thug teenagers like the 16 year olds who carjacked some old lady then killed the domino's pizza driver deserve that type of bail.

I didn't read that at all, as him suggesting they should be similarly lenient on the NO thugs. Weird you would.

that wasn't my point, my point was in the question I asked. why would he throw out 17 years old if it didn't have any merit to it? point is, 17 years old and this dude 26 years old both deserve 300k bails.
