Bangkok looks awesome. I'd like to say Phuket and just move there.

How long to get the suit made from fitting to delivery?

The fitting was about an hour. Picking out the fabric took a while. SO many options to consider, it was overwhelming almost. They also had this lighting rig that could be changed to simulate different lighting conditions (sunlight, indoor light, etc) that they used. Pretty cool to see that you are buying the color/fabric that you truly want.

I left the tailor and continued my exploration of the city. When I returned to the hotel later on that night around 3am it was at the front desk in a nice garment bag.

Do you remember the name of the tailor? I want to get two or three made while I am there.

I don't remember the name. You will see that tailors are EVERYWHERE. Just ask your concierge to set it up, that way you don't pay fore a suit that never arrives, or one that does arrive is not what you paid for. The "reputable" tailors pay the concierge a commission so they are both interested in ensuring you get your product just as you paid for it.

Thanks for this. I'm going to Bangkok and Koh Tao in June. Any and all help/suggestions you could offer would be appreciated.

What was your route back home? Which airports did you stop/airlines taken?

We are looking at a flight that stops in UAE and the girl is worried about terrorists and shite.

On way there LAX to ICN to BKK.

Way back BKK to PVG to ORD.

She shouldn't worry about terrorists in the UAE

Thats all great man but how much is Thai Stick these days?

Also do they still do the funny Muay Thai fights? every 4th or 5th fight would be comic relief and some were very clever and funny.

This is an old thread that was bumped, Chicken sets threads to stop showing images after one month to save bandwidth, but you can click on the link to see the photo.
