They played my wedding. They can work a crowd, they’ll let (or sometimes force) people onstage. And we had them break down and end the reception in a second line which went pretty smooth.

Yeah I think every band we're looking at has some brass. They are all out of New Orleans

Don’t know if they are still around, but “The Wise Guys” were similar to the Boogie Men, and were very good

Was awesome at our wedding!

Same, but that was almost 18 years ago. They kind of Urban now and the manager is a dick to work with. They played our local fair, in a 4 hour set they took a 1 hour 15 minute break and ended 15 minutes early. So there's that too.

Mixed Nuts

They are a good party band and they guy running the group is a professional. (Sometimes dealing with these bands are difficult bc they are kind of flakey).

Trotline or 17th floor

Depends on what your guest list looks like.

They should change their name to "Sold Out".... Only half of the band showed up to my niece's wedding in December. No one knew they weren't going to be able to play until the reception was starting. Luckily they had speakers and were at least able to play music from a playlist, but its still not what they were hired to do. Manager is refusing to refund and is trying to get my brother to book them for another event at no charge. It's complete BS.
