I’m looking to get some new sheets and usually buy the bargain bin WalMart sheets. I started looking around and bamboo gets mentioned a lot. Has anyone tried Calihari sheets? They are much higher than I’ve ever considered spending on sheets but the reviews seem good.

I have calihari. I got the deep ones but they’re still a little tight on the bed. I didn’t really notice anything life changing idk.

They usually run 15-25% off sales frequently.

I hated bamboo sheets. They don’t breathe and I got hot as shite under them.

Yes, the resort. They are soft and cool. Only issue is that it is 10 degrees outside so the bed is a little chilly.

I find the first comment extremely helpful to compare fabrics LINK

In short, bamboo can be incredibly soft and should never pill, but it holds heat much more than most natural fibers. I haven’t had bamboo fabric sheets, but the wife has several pajama sets of the material. It’s very comfortable but again- it sleeps a bit hot.

I am a crazy person. Over the last few years, I have bought nice cotton sheets (Brooklinen sateen), silk, and linen sheets. On the first day, I do still think silk is a better feeling material than linen. By the 7th day of use before we strip the bed and swap, the linen sheets tend to still feel “fresher.” Wife prefers linen. In the summer, I tend to like them a bit better, too.

When I first read about linen sheets, I thought, “who would want to sleep on scratchy, porous burlap?” The first time I put them on the bed, boy was I ever right. I hated them. They made me itch. I had to put a shirt on because I hated how the fabric felt. After the 3-4th wash cycle, they were a different animal. I convinced my brother and sister in law to try them and suggested they run them through the wash a few times before sleeping on them. They loved them so much that their Christmas gift to our parents this year was a set of linen sheets.

If you DONT like your sheets to breathe, they aren’t for you. But if you want a nice, crisp, cool sleep for about the price you’ll pay for bamboo from Cariloha, at least read the above link and consider linen or a nice cotton percale, ~200-250TC sheet.

Silk is pricy, but it is a very, very nice fabric that I don’t regret having. It is a little more than double the cost of the other stuff mentioned, though.
